Type: Festival

The delightful city of Truro is the venue for Cornwall Food and Drink Festival which takes place at the end of summer. The festival is the biggest celebration of Cornish food and drink anywhere, attracting artisan bakers, chocolate makers, dairy farmers who produce all that delicious ice cream and clotted cream, expert fishmongers , in fact everything from pasties to paella. Come and taste for yourself why the county has one of the finest reputations for food and drink in the whole of the UK.

There's something to tempt everyone’s taste buds in the marquee and covered pavilion right in the middle of Truro that plays host to more than fifty exhibitors, a packed timetable of chef demos, foodie talks, fun for kids in the Funky Food Zone and a unique food experience for a limited number of lucky diners when seven of the county’s finest chefs come together to create a superb six-course menu.

During the festival you can come and meet the faces behind the reputations, learn some new tricks and pick up some new products, as award-winning food and drink producers and chefs from all over Cornwall share some of their secrets. Enjoy some traditional Cornish Food at the Croust Bar serving up hot pasties, crab sandwiches and clotted cream teas, pick up some home grown produce from the farmers’ market and kids will love the Funky Food zone where they can get hands on discovering more about where their food comes from and how it’s made.
