St Agnes & Perranporth
St Agnes is a pretty village 9 miles away from the City of Truro on the North coast, unspoilt by time and full of character. Take a stroll down Stippy Stappy, a row of quaint Sea Captains cottages, to the ruined harbour and the beach at Trevaunance Cove. Wander around the many craft shops and galleries or explore the many coastal walks and the famous beacon.
Enjoy a drink at a cosy traditional pub, explore a heather-strewn cliff top or wander through wooded vales to ruined engine houses. Whether you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing visit, walking or water sports, St Agnes’ Heritage Coast is the natural choice.
First and western Greyhound both offer hourly services from Truro Monday - Saturday and First has a Sunday service which operates every two hours. Service No's are 85 and 583.

Further along the North Cornish Coast is the coastal beach resort of Perranporth famed for its glorious 3 miles of golden sands. The small shopping street of Perranporth is tightly packed with shops offering a variety of beach goods and souvenirs. The street also includes a number of cafes, restaurants and pubs. The name Perranporth is derived from both St Piran, the patron saint of tin miners and porth meaning landing place.
Perranporth Gold Club stands on top of the dunes and has wonderful views over the beach and sea. Nearby in the hamlet of Reen, there are riding stables, where you can try out a spot of pony trekking.
